At some time in your life you have to realize that reallife isn't some storybook, and the hero doesn't always win. In reality evil usually triumphs...not the evil final bosses of some videogame, but the evil caused by minor injustices each and everday of our lives.
There is a reason why we have sayings such as :
-History is written by the victors
-There is two sides to every story
- Evil is subjective.
No one goes about there day thinking that they are the villian, that they are evil. They have some kind of justification why they are right and that helps them sleep at night. Politics has become a big business, lobbyist pay premium rates to get the laws passed that help there causes. And so society is shaped by money and the beliefs of a few. Don't Believe me then riddle me this.
Why is it that in court cases with children are involved that the children are almost always awarded to the mother(regardless of her financial situation) unless she can be proven unfit, regardless of the reason for the divorce?
Why is it that we enjoy physical contest that pit man againist man, and enjoy watching videos of other human beings getting hurt, but be are instantly up in arms if an animal is hurt?
Why do we assume that animals can't feed themselves?
Why do we automatically assume that america is still the best country in the world, and get upset when someone suggest that it isn't? Bonus points if you can name one thing that we are still the best at besides our military.
Why is it that someone can get on national televison and spout any piece of propaganda that they want as long as they claim its in the bible, and everyone just excepts it...(majority of it isn't.)
Why is it that my fellow americans get upset if a foriegner doesn't speak english, but when they visit another country they get upset with the natives because they don't speak english.(if anyone should be upset it should be the chinese because their country boast 1/6 of the entire population on earth.)
Why do we as americans think that we have the right to go into another soveriegn country and dictate policy?(How would you feel if the chinese goverment landed troops in your backyard, and kicked in your door looking for terrorist?)
Why do we feel shocked that other countries don't like us?
Why are people who don't support war in Iraq, immediately accused of not supporting the troops? (As members of the military we don't have any input in when are where we are deployed. Those decisions are made my wealthy people, most of which have never served a day in there life, couldn't be bothered to see the troops in person and who have there own agenda.)
Why do most people condemn polygamy, when a majority of mankinds history supported that lifestyle?
Why is it that a most people tend to try to force anyone who does share their same beliefs to conform to there ideas?
Why is asking someone "how they are doing?" such a common greeting when most people who say it could care less about how you are doing?
Why is it that we are willing to give money to a needy person in another country but, we drive past needy people on the other side of the city each day?
Why is it that the penalty for crack is about 10-100 times more severe that the penalty for an equal amount of cocaine.(cocaine is an ingredient in the production of crack.)
Why is it that abusing a animal will get you more jail time then abusing a baby?
