When will this school end? I find that spending 12 hours at work/school to help out sucks. If I have to stay late tommorrow, then I don't think I'm going to make it.....I'm fried. I wish I had something more entertaining to say, but this week is sucking me dry...and I don't mean in a good way.

..I won't be satisfied until I'm done...
...I won't be satisfied unitl this race is won..
...The more I try to contain this....
...The bigger it seems....
....The more I try to control it...
...The more it bursts at the seams...
....Its what I see in my Mind's eye its the place that I call home.
...Its no longer...

I think discovering what you want (which usually means giving yourself permission to really want it!) is one of the huge steps to living a powerful life.

Once you know what you want, and are really tuned in to it, you can focus on it like a fucking laser, and pour effort into making it happen.
melaschasm:
I enjoyed your project under construction... I hope your doing good kiss

When do words loose their meaning?
I know what you are thinking words don't loose their meaning silly boy. If you read a written word now and 100 years from now it'll mean the same thing....but does it really? How many times can you hear the phase "You're beautiful" before it looses it's meaning? 10, 100,maybe 1000times. When does something that made you feel so...

but it was a good busy i think, alot of work but nothing too dificult smile
neakylikeaninja:
You are a very thought provoking person.

I know what you mean. Me and my boyfriend have had this discussion many, many times. He won't say "I love you" every day, because he doesn't want it to lose it's meaning. He doesn't want it to turn into an ordinary phrase. Something that is automatic at the end of a phone conversation, or something that has to be said every time one of us is leaving the room, or the house, or the state. It shouldn't be something that you say even when you're just treading water, it should be something that saves you from drowning.

Something extraordinary said every day until it loses meaning, becomes something ordinary. Something once holding up the bottom of an iceberg of a million un-said things, now becomes the punctuation at the end of a sentence. It no longer means everything you mean to me, everything I wish I could say to you all in three little words, it's just something we say to pass the time...

Sad, isn't it?

Well, I don't have to take any tests for awhile...that is assuming I made it pass the mid-term. Not likely. It was kinda liberating today .The whole class sat around and had a bitch session during lunch. Considering that no one has failed any test yet. We are pretty sure that the devil possessed our instuctor and switched the test. The material that was the...

You had a dream that you made out with a unicorn? Wow...and I thought the one where Cap'n Crunch was being held hostage inside of a computer game and only trusted my offer to set him free under the guise of the Cheshire (sp?) cat was weird...

I hate tests that have nothing to do with the material we were actually taught. What's the point of the course then? Queer asses.

are you in the navy?

No one but Satan himself makes an 8 hour test....This day has truly sucked. ARRR!!!

Hahahaha, "kiss my ass you fail!"

I don't know; I think that people possess a tremendous capability for compassion within a certain small sphere-- family or friends or "the team", or "my tribe."

Getting that same sense of concern for strangers would be the key. I just don't think we're wired for it. In order to care about strangers, it does have to be about the "right thing to do," about an outside-in morality.

I don't think people snap out the first chance they get; I think there are violent people who suddenly have whatever societal restraints were on their behavior removed, and they get to escalate up the scale.

Fuck that's harsh. Hope you did alright!

The Dairy of a child actor

Reporter: Today ladies and gentlemen we are here with child actor Pat N. Nutz. Mr. Nutz. Could you tell us something about yourself?

Nutz: Well Johnny, I don't think I need to introduce myself too much. I'm sure all of your viewers remember me from my earlier commericals promoting the Spork and snap-n-pops.

Reporter: Actually..I don't think...

Sometimes the simplest things can seem the hardest to do...like trying to find time to capture the words in my head. My biggest challenge is where to start. I have a couple of projects that I'm trying to work on. what's truly ironic is the story that needs the least amount of research is the one that is the largest. Over the last year, an...

I understand the pains of creative writing... I love to write, and I know how it feels to have someone reject a character or story that I've come to know personally.
It's always hard knowing where to start. Generally, I start at th beginning, work on the middle, work on the end, work on the beginning some more... back and forth until it all fits together. I think that's the way to do it smile
So, when are you going to send me a story or list of characters I can read about?? I'm dying to see biggrin
sarahjane:
i just don't like how short it is.

Once again my well founded disappointment in society has proven to be well founded. I cancelled my cable and internet subscription to Cox because they are unable to defend my service from people stealing it and since I'm trying to maintain blissful ignorance and not give out door-to-door Beatdowns. I've decided to do the grown-up thing and just go to Squirrel_Hunter's house and use his...

Why is it that insight comes at some of the strangest times? Why is it that when I cease to focus on the specfics and let my brain wonder, then I find the greatest insights? Why is it that things that seemed important a few weeks ago now just seem like a footnote?

Cause in point. I was kinda bum about the bleak desert which is...

You could be right about the piercing, I have wondered about that myself. But, then I also wonder, what other type of ring is there?? I have surgical steel in my belly piercing and that has been fine for the 2 years I have had it. I also have surgical steel in my nipples, and I would assume that that should also be fine or else I would have had a problem with my belly piercing..?!?!? I honestly don't know any more.
Is there any other kind of metal I can use??
neakylikeaninja:
I totally want to read about your character!!! I love to write, and I know what it's like to have to speculate about what the other gender is like. I wanna read!!!

Thanks for the good luck, I'm nervous as hell.

Insight comes at bad times, because only hindsight is 20/20. That's just the way it is. You spend days/hours agonizing over stupid shit, and only find out it's stupid shit after you've had the time to think/agonize over it. It's just the process.
