Borderlands.
Aside from the DLC i have just completed the first runthrough of the game with my Hunter character and although i found the payoff to be a bit of a let down i must say that i came away from the game with a great sense of contentment and a twinge of sadness. it felt strange looking out over the salt flats through my digital eyes and wondering where i would go next. i had made this world my home. i had roamed over its planes and slid through its towns. i was temped to go back to fyrestone to the place it all began and see if it seemed smaller now. i went through my inventory and recounted experiences that i had had with each weapon. each tried, tested and had proven themselves time and time again. i only wish that i had the bank in the underdome earlier as only sledge's shot gun resides there but there where so many weapons that had i the space i would have kept mearly for the nostalgia factor. i felt loss and i recalled the excitement of trying to obtain higher levels of experience so that i may use the sniper rifle that was just a few levels out of reach but tempting me as it sat occupying a space in my at that time space limited backpack, for now there seemed to be no weapons that where out of my reach and there hadnt been for some time. money, a thing that at one time was such a presious comodity i now had in abundance. if not for the promise of further adventures at jacob's island and glory in battle in the underdome i may have let bludwing loose for the last time and took the revolver i was brandishing to my temple as it seemed that i had no where else to go.
except back to the start and with another character
