So I'm home and just returned from dropping off Bill_the_Cat at Philly International. What a crazy three weeks this has been - we've been all over the damn place, met some more amazing SG folk, driven hundreds and hundreds of miles, and paid visits to a good deal of his family.

Evidence in picture form I only have up to the halfway point of our journey, but we'll pick up where I left off once we have all the rest uploaded & what not -

The night before our road trip began we got a quick visit and bite to eat with CharlieLove and pamazon. Ooodles of fun, these ladies are. There's nothing better than someone who can tell a good story, and the two of them combined left us both in stitches. ♥

Day one of our journey was to MA for fun and games at thefreak's bachelor pad. Chef Tommy cooks one hell of a dinner.

Cleansing the palette.

Mmmm, chipotle cinnamon rubbed chicken with brown rice & veggies.love

Tom still thought Brendan had better flavor, I suppose.

All it took was a little tongue lashing from me...

and the threat of knife to skull from my better half to calm young Thomas down and bit.

Good times, great company, phenomenal eats, and a drunken late night playing Guitar Hero was had. I hope to get the chance to do this again sooner than later. Tommy is a fucking awesome guy and good good peoples. ♥

After that it was off to oh Canada. Our first week there was spent in Brockville, Ontario with Mr. Cat's pappa & fam. They were wonderful, very welcoming, and made me feel right at home. Being my first time that far from my comfort zone was a little disconcerting, and I remained my ever so shy self, but after a few family dinners and day trips I warmed up a bit.

Most notable day trips -

1. His grandfather's farm, which was unbelieveably beautiful.

2. 1000 Islands Cruise to Boldt Castle. We still aren't completely sure whether or not the salad dressing was named for this particular section of the world. ooo aaa

3. Ottawa: we spent the day there with his Pappa, went to the museum of civilization, and just soaked up the beauty of this wonderful city.

Journey intermission til my next update, which will hopefully include Gala pics of all the sexy people we had the chance to party with.

Annnnd fast forward to the present.
I came home to a mess. I had been so involved in my social & love life for so many months that I really let things go. And I'm talking worse than it was. The pile of mail I sifted through upon returning home was just bad news after bad news. Long story short, I owe alot of people alot of money and am still crazily broke. And I can no longer ignore any of it if I want any chance of making a better life for myself.
The next week or so will be spent avoiding car repossession, lawsuits, and suspension of license. Yeah, it's like that. blackeyed

Good news is I think I found a job as a nanny for a friend of my family. She has two little girls who I've heard are quite a handful, but the money's right and it's an immediate start, so I need to do this. My first day is tomorrow, send me some good mojo that this works.

Tonight I'm going to relax, breathe, & try my hardest not to worry. I need to clear my head and get out of gypsy wanna be mode.
