Not since Charles Whitman has there been such school shooting carnage. Why? Have we not become more civilized as a country in fourty years? Apparently not. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims' friends and loved ones at Virginia Tech. This makes me so sad.


In happier news, my weekend was squee-fully delicious. Our time was short, and I, light weight drunken maniac that I am, passed out sooner than I would've liked to. But my love for the beautiful and precious avalonchase runs deeper than ever now that we've met. She is my sista and one of my very best friends. Be jealous, kids, I got to see her shoot. P.S., her bewbies are teh cuteness.

Never did have that family pow wow, but the process is still moving in the right direction with this house buying business. I love my family, and as weird as it sounds, can't WAIT to move home. I don't get to see my mother and siblings often enough, so I'm actually looking forward to being in the same house as them all. We all get along better than the average fam, we have our moments, but overall we are a forward thinking non-traditional loving and supportive bunch, so this should be fun.

I'm on call for work today. I wish they would call me already and tell me to stay my ass home. I'm itching to smoke a blizzie.
