Who's a supa star, I'M a supa star!!!!
Just got the call from my head trainer, and she gave my ego a SERIOUS boost. I've taken 4 (count em) FOUR tests in the last two days and rocked them ALL!!!! Lemme break it down:
1.server certify -
the easiest of the four, it was basically a training shift you get graded on. I got a 92% (yeah!)
2."new menu" quiz -
I believe I'm the only person out of the 7 people who took this today that passed. Supposedly just about everyone fails this one. Not I, I scored 90% (yeaah!)
3.server exam -
I thought I was a little shaky on this one, but apparently not. 92% (yeaah!)
4.food ID exam -
this one was so easy for me, it was the longest and most important of the bunch. 97% (YEAAAAAAHHH!)
Bear in mind, we needed to score a 90 or better on all of them to pass. I'm so proud of myself, it almost makes me feel smart (almost). Who says pot heads are slackers?!? Eat that!!
Now I've got til Sunday to just chill for a second. I feel like I've spent every waking moment for the last month worrying about this job. How do YOU spell relief?
Anyway, yeah, I'm overwhelmingly happy. I LOVE my new job and I'm pretty confident I'm going to have much success with this company.
On a side note, I have a little ranting to do:
I've been getting a good deal of friend requests, lately. I can't stress enough how much I HATE friend collecting, I think it's pointless, ghey, MySpazz bullshit. If we've never communicated before and you try to add me, I'll probably say no. If you've never written a journal, or haven't written one since last year, I'll probably say no. If you have hundreds upon hundreds of friends on your list, and they're ALL female (this one's obviously for all you gentleman callers), I'll probably say no.
If I DO add you and you disappear into oblivion, I'm gonna delete you. I'm not trying to be a snarky bitch, but I don't think it's fair to me OR the people I neglect on my friends list simply because it gets too hard to keep up with everybody.
Alot of the people I've met through SG I consider a priority to keep in touch with, and some I just think are so fucking awesome that I wanna get to know them better. Keeping my friends list manageable helps me do these things. I can't really manage it all too well if I've got a buttload of strangers surrounding the few I know and love.
So here's the deal - if ya wanna be buds, make an effort. If you can't make the effort, don't bother. Mmmkay?
