It's freakin cold, yo!! Brrrrr. No me gusta.
Alright, I'm going to start sounding all sappy and stuff for a sec. My dear friend eyerush is right this minute receiving the "I'm not worthy" bow care of yours truly.
So, I've been anxiously awaiting a package from this kind sir all week long. AND, as I've already mentioned, I'm trying to get my ass in gear and take down my Christmas tree. It took me forever to put up, and even longer now to take it down. I"ve got slacker tattooed on my ass.
Know what gave me the get up and go to put the damn thing up? Well, that of course would be the FIRST package eyerush sent me in December.
And, miracle of miracles, what did appear, but a second package with 10 excellent CDs. Interestingly, on the VERY night I was planning on taking that sucker down. So I see this as fate, and that faith has motivated me.
Three cheers for my friend, my flesh and blood "real world" friend I just happen to never have met face to face. He's such a great person, from his sense of humour to his SO amazing taste in music, movies and literature. A really geuine and kind guy, I'm so glad to have met him.
So, off I go to listen to my so far mind blowingly amazing "Break up songs" mixed cd. By the time I make my way through the last of the 10 cds, my tree should be down, and I should be a happy girl.
If I'm extra good and finish all my chores, I'm gonna treat myself to a litle "Texas Chainsaw: the beginning" later. At least, I hope it'll be a treat, haven't seen it yet. Anybody got an opinion? Please share with the group.
Viva la musica!!!
Edit: As of 8:10 pm this evening, Christmas has officially left the building!!! It's so funny how we all put off doing the simplest of things, that took me no time, and every second was enjoyble thanks to eyerush. ♥
