Apologies all around for my lengthy absence. And thank you for all the wonderful birthday wishes, you guys are awesome!!!!
So, the b-day was so-so. Freakin 27, I feel old. I'm geting too close to 30 for comfort. The resturant was WAY overrated, WAY noisy and crowded, and WAY WAY WAY overpriced. The food was very good, not out-of-this-world, but good. But the atmosphere was blah, they sat us at one of those cramped two person tables, the server looked bored whilst giving his spiel, and they forgot to give me my birthday sparkler in my dessert.
It just wasn't worth it for the $$$$.
We found this really nice seafood place, though, the night after that kinda redeemed our spirits. For half the cost and with twice the food and drink, we had an awesome time. We liked it so much we went back with some friends a week later. Anybody local lookin for some good seafood and flawless service check out the Fishbone Grill. And try a pomegranite martini, your taste buds will thank you.
Aside from my b-day adventures, things are the same. Trying to work my ass off so we can save up for Greece in January. I need to start learning more of the language so I can communicate with my honey's friends and fam. But I'm a lazy bitch, the summer heat makes me want to veg.
SG Burlesque is coming in October, YAY!!!!!!!! Can't freakin wait!!!! I'm gonna try to catch the Philly and AC shows if I can get the time off work. Hooray for boobies!!!!
