In other news, they're letting me close the bar by myself, after I've only worked there a week. Or any bar, for that matter. OCD clean freak FTW - I own at hospitality. I'm just so god damn excited to be working at a pub after three years slaving at the neon grind stone.
In unrelated news, I have begun my second last semester at uni.
This semester's units include:
- Global Media Studies
- Auto/biography
- Writing Genre
I've also just quit my old job at Trader Business Media, and taken a new job at Trader Business Media in film production. They're incorporating film into their media output over the next year and want me to specialise in learning and running the editing software. In a few months, they're going to ask me to trial as a camera-person, after they've figured out how to use the cameras.
In conceptual news, everything is coming together.
In final news, I'm excited about the SGAU Ball in Oct. I'm going to book my accommodation soon, and hope that others will follow suit.
