Okay, I've started blogging again. My pseudo hideaway-hiatus is over.
I'm a selfish blogger, see, and I just come here for the groups. My blog is to vent and record, mostly, and entertain. And give shout-outs.
Tonight's first shout-out goes out to the very popular The Motley Crew. This band of four young men visit Irish Murphy's in Brisbane City every weekend, drink a hundred JD and Cokes, and then move on to the Casino. Their actual band name is The Black Whiskeys, but they're always wearing Motley Crew t-shirts, so we call 'em that instead.
Last night they invited myself and another bartender to go with them to the casino.
4:15am: Busking outside the casino - some poor bastard decided to lend them his guitar.
After this, we went inside and snuck out onto the smoking verandas and then promptly found ourselves forcibly removed from them. Then I gambled a dollar and won back $6! And at about 5am we had breakfast in the casino diner, where-in I had my drink spiked. Fuckers put a bunch of marmalade and jam in my hot chocolate while I was in the toilet, though I'm not complaining, it actually tasted not entirely undelicious.
And this is me in my new work uniform
Second shout-out tonight goes out to the lovely Magpi who was passing through Brisbane today and was kind enough to give yours truly a call to meet for coffee.
After coffee we retired back to my place for a quick chat on the 'veranda.'
Hope you don't mind me posting these dear, I did warn you, I think.
And finally, last shout-out goes out to new SG member Pooky56, a lovely man that lives around my area, if you know where I live.
