I just got another assignment that told me (roughly):

"Well done, what fantastic writing, and you have such lovely referencing. It's a pity that you aren't quite grasping the concept."

Another:

"Great essay, well put together, your quotations are excellent ... your understanding of the Mind/Body existential divide would be greater understood with closer attention to the Putnam reading."


Alright, I get it, I'm a writer. If Hilary Putnam wasn't such a criptic fucking bastard, maybe I could unpack his mathamatical algorithms for thought patterns.

Really, though, one week is not enough to move through the entirety of Descartes ...and remember it.


Next semester I'm choosing a creative writing unit and a visual design unit. Fuck philosophy, I have my own ideas about what the fourth dimension is.
