OBJECTIVE: To obtain an entry-level position as a production assistant or crew member.
EDUCATION
Pitzer College, Claremont, CA, B.A Media Studies May, 2004
Production courses covered all aspects of video production including camera, lighting, sound and editing utilizing Final Cut Pro.
Internship Produced a promotional video for the Pomona Inland Valley Council of Churches (PIVCC) about their programs for the homeless.
Senior Project handled all aspects of producing a short documentary video including script, casting, scheduling, equipment, filming, and post-production.
Advanced Media Project completed a media project which involved creating a 29 minute finished piece from 72 minutes of raw video footage. Process included scripting dialogue, picture editing, creating sound effects, music and sound editing.
Contemporary Practices in Media Art created a short video piece exhibited in an LA gallery as part of an exhibition on contemporary issues in education.
Handmade Film explored alternative models for processing film including hand processing.
Theory course work including: Introduction to Media Studies, Language of Film, Media Discourse, Independent Film Cultures, and the Films of Hitchcock.
