Yeah, we had that at one of the gigs in my last band - we'd done the booking plus support bill ourselves only for the bouncer to disappear into the bookies half the night leaving me and our bassist and guitarist to sling out any undesirables who tried to get into the pub. When we finally paid him the pay packet was twenty quid lighter and our bassist and guitarist stayed behind to explain this while me and the drummer loaded our gear back into the car. About 15 minutes passed and no sign of 'em so we decided to wander back down to the venue and sent the other two a text message to tell 'em. The penny kind of dropped when the reply came back of "If I was you I'd start running back towards the car as fast as you fucking can." Luckily we gave the great neanderthal the slip and got outta there as fast as we could but suffice to say we never played that particular dive again.
