complicity

So here i sit enjoying the heat, a bit of metal and smoking too many cigarettes. Sleep? I've given up on that idea for the forseeable future. Apparently i have to be at work at 7am tomorrow for a chuffing stock take, there better be breakfast involved or deaths will occur! Also they want me to work in Bristol this weekend and as my car is being particularly odd this will mean getting a train, or it would if National Rail weren't suggesting the only way i can get from Cheltenham to Bristol on a sunday is to get a bus at 10 on sat night, to Newport, wait there for 7 hours then get another bus to Bristol!! Ah rural public transport, i guess the nags must be in for shoeing that day!

Well the weekend was fantastic, I got my new job in London confirmed which is a great relief. Vicky's party was ace fun, i got to meet loads of cool people, and dance to ridiculous amounts of 80's rock and appear like squinty retard in many photo's! (kinda like that, except not quite so green...that was the next day!) The never ending joys of the 25 bus home took new and entertaing turns that night, involving some form of fight and one poor pissed bastard falling asleep in his seat only fall off and hit the deck like a sack of spuds! I'm never sure if this whole 'getting light at 4am' business is a good thing, i always feel nice and deccadent watching the sun come up...as long as i don't have to get up the following day. Sunday was great too, i got to sit in on a very cool photoshoot, in an amazing place. I'll let the protaganists tell you more if they so desire, but i had a great time!

So i just want this week to fly by, i'm broke and tired, disillusioned with where i live at the moment. I'm sick of treading water, this place was great as a stepping stone out of my previous place, but now it just seems like cardboard cutout, everything is flat and grey and i'm bored constantly. I know where i need to be, and i know when i'll be there, it's just this goddamn waiting.

On a much (much) happier note... We've got tickets to the Metal Hammer Golden Gods next week!!!!

It's gonna be so much fun, my mission for the evening is to poison Bullet for my Valentines bass player and slip unnoticed into his place bwah ha ha ha ha! I'll just have to impress em with my cowboy hat, cos my metal scream aint worth shit!
