Ok.... so i did get fairly drunk, over the course of two days! But to be honest that didn't help. A very cool, beautiful and smart person however did help a lot. So apologies for the ranting, Come to the Borderline (it's in London, jeez do i have to explain everything) if you like it'll still be a good night, if anything we'll be playing harder to make up for the lack of practice, and we'll probably hit the Crobar after, it'll all be coooool!
So yeah, a fairly whiskey heavy weekend, i had a good night last night, when i really thought i wouldn't. My flatmates had been watching the football (yawn) and drinking since 10.30 when i was persuaded to meet them about 12 hours later, and bugger me if it wasn't a hellishly amusing evening! Idle_hands and i spent a good portion of the night doing our best grumpy old bastard impressions, going hoarse shouting about how the kids are all shit, and things were much better when men wore cut off denim, backpatches, and had big hair, jealous? us? ha!.... where's my bullet belt?!
Flatmate number one, soiled his (oh so immaculate) reputation by vomiting on our white sofa, bless him, god knows what it was but it was brown!
And i have been working (but i wasn't late today!! hurrah) in a rather lethargic and sarcastic manner, tip... when someone asks for "some of those waterproof leg things" don't reply "trousers?" he was a trifle defensive after that, ah well, don't ask me stupid questions, my patience will only stretch so far, basically not very!
I need to sleep!
