i went to a hayden show last nite. it was the first nite of his tour with sarah harmer. you could tell. it was a little rough. the new stuff he played was really good. i'm gonna buy the album. evan, i have pics but they're kinda blurry and not worth uploading but if you really wanna see let me know on aim.

during the show hayden was particularly funny. this is very unusual. normally he seems very nervous. his stage presence has really come a long way since last year. for instance, he was playing a new song called "kill bear" and he said "this song is about a bear and you have to listen to the lyrics from start to finish to really get it...i guess that's kinda true with every song tho. do you guys have bears around here?" ::someone says "YES" then another person says "NO" hayden goes, "why'd you lie man?" to the guy who said yes first. then he said "well do you have black bears tho? cos this song is about a black bear." and the yes guy said "I DUNNO" and hayden said "i appreciate your honesty."

so yeah, it was fun. and then i stayed the nite at bob's who i hadn't seen in a couple years and he sorta put the moves on me. so i fell asleep.
