today i started thinking about alan. an old online friend. i wonder what he is doing now. we lost touch a couple years ago. we used to email eachother all the time talking about what was new with our lives and offering eachother advice and comfort. he used to send me pics of him and mix cd's in the mail. he introduced me to pete yorn. that's probably why i'm thinking of him now. he always had on a star wars hat in the photos. i really wish i knew his email address now so we could catch up. then again, people come and go so much in your life it's probably better left untouched. i guess i miss the annonymity of our friendship. he never judged me and i never judged him. last i knew he was getting married. i hope he is doing well.

Mmmmmmerry Christmas and ho ho ho stuff. Yeah, I have an online friend named Lindsey whom I have been talking to for like four years, and it's really cool. She's in New York, I'm in Georgia. Totally different lives, right? It's fun to get to know someone on here. You can go your entire lives without ever actually speaking in person. Weird what technology can do.
