Well I have actually contracted a cold or flu, which is actually pretty rare for me (or that maybe my mom's boyfriend jjust gets sick more frequently making it seem like a rare occurence for me).
Anyhow I feel like crap, went to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind for only $9.50 at Eauclaire!
Excellent film, a very philisophical look at the value of memories(and very entertaining to boot).
Went to see the Corporation again, though my compadres I went to with the NDP were not as good as a disscusiion group as say.......my parents.
Oh well hopefully some of my comrades will go see it, even if I have to go with them and see this movie for the 4th time!

gramsci:
Gramsci is an Italian neo-Marxist. He's regarded as the founder of modern Autonomous Marxist thought. He completely by-passed Stalinist and Leninist ideas and approached Marxism from a democratic and far more progressive angle.

He wrote most of his work from a prison cell -Mussolini wasn't a fan-. Prison Notebooks is his major work. The Italian branch of Autonomous Marxism is really great. If you can get a grip on it, it is one of the best tools you'll have for engaging in debates with rightwingers, because it totally moves away from authoritarianism and focuses on the benefits of voluntary collectivism, self-management and shared-ownership.

For a modern take checkout Italian professor Antoni Negri's Empire -currently in Jail on trumped up charges from the 1970s-. It's been called the Communist Manifesto for the 21st century.
