Well I was just complaining in Towelly's blog that my life is boring and banal when just today I got a big reminder of something that happened a week ago that makes my life not so normal due to of course being a socialist, today the SUN paper has put up the news article about my friend who is active in ARA and got firebombed, literally with a Molotov cocktail was thrown at his house (while I was over) into his back yard; the flames lit up to the middle of the kitchen window and set one side of the fence on fire along with his patio furniture, luckily the cocktail was poorly constructed as the wick popped off in mid air and thus the fuel did not land all in one place, their was a fire on the other side of the other fence that was quite large but managed to be far enough to not set that fence on fire.

What was interesting in the article was that apparantly another house had been firebombed a month or so ago in the opposite side of the city and apparantly it was a former residence of an activist as well, so it is almost certain that these two events are not coincidences and were orchastrated by hate groups that ARA has been effectively confronting and exposing what they truly are, a violent group who pose a danger to communities built on diversity and struggling for equality.
