yea, he was very happy that day. My son is fascinated with edged weaons, he has dozens of toy swords. My buddy gave him that one and he just loves it so much. I let him take it out once or twice a week for practice (aka weed cutting) under strict supervision. I'm always right there with him. And if anyone gets cut or poked its likely to be me. The edge isn't sharp, it's just pointy. I'll probably try to chip the tip off just in case.
