comicking

Things are getting kinda funky around the comic's lair.

I think my ocd kicked in today... I bought a new computer to go with a new HDTV LCD monitor I wanted. I don't need the computer, this one I'm on is just fine and only a year or so old. Its just that I wanted the 26 inch flat panel monitor I saw the other day, and while I could hook it up to this computer, this one has the USB 1.0 hook-ups and the new one has 2.0. Plus, my work has a policy in place that once a year (or 3 depending on how long it takes to payoff the last one) we can apply for an interest-free loan and pay for it over 30 months (2 1/2 years), so to get the monitor and at least make it look like I was buying a computer, I added a tower in that hooks up digitally to the t.v. (yes, its actually a flat screen t.v. with HD Ready hook-ups!). I'm all giddy!

But its nothing compared to what my ocd made me spent last month... but we won't go there.

update 11:28pm. Its all hooked up and looks great! Haven't connected it to the net yet (not sure if I'm gonna yet), but I'm already thinking "how did I ever live without this?"
