I have now officially met 2 different SG's. Both are on my friends list and both are in Minneapolis.
As all who have either known me or read my journals may recall, Benni is the reason I joined the site and is the main reaon I remain here. I met her before either of us were on the site.
Tonight I met Danielle. She is something else. She threw me "for a loop" because she was very different than what I imagined her to be. She's a much better person than I imagined. We were not able to talk much, as I happened to see her where she works and she was busy (she has a job to do). She did find some time to talk to me though and I found it to be time well spent. While I don't expect to bump into her at work again any time soon, I may have to stalk her (
just kidding!)!
This last week was fun. I spent as much of my free time as I could visiting Benni where she works. The week culminated with a parental function Saturday morning celebrating thier 45th wedding anniversary, and my upcoming birthday along with my sister-in-law's and one of my nephew's (we're all in October). We then went for a walk around Lake Normandale (its a 2 mile journey).
Hope your week has been fruitful, or at least pleasant. Here's to hoping this next week will be even better for all of us *raises glass in toast*!

Just making my rounds and saying hi, so you didn't feel ignored. I don't have much to update you on, I still have not gotten a definite yet on my MN trip in Dec...
I didnt make the call. But I made myself available for her call and I am glad I did. I think you made some good points but in this case I think the good friend understands that she shouldnt have to apologize. What she said needed to be said. As I think I mentioned before it was all true. It hurt to hear because I knew she was right. Anyway we talked. Everything is good. Life is good. I hope the next week is better also but I dont want to get greedy. This last one and the one before have been pretty damn good.
