I hate my Life (getting sick of me saying this yet?)

Las Vegas Part III

At the 7-11, one day a security guard from one of the casinos comes in and we're chatting, when I notice that he happens to have a stun-gun. We talk about it, and he pretty easily suggests that I get one, being in the neighborhood that I am.. So I go to a gun shop and find one of the most powerful stunners on the market that I can legally buy, and a pair of hand-cuffs just for show. My roommate at the time (a guy I new in college that convinced me to move with him to Vegas in the first place) is baffled by my purchase. He starts complaining about how violence begets violence, and having a gun (even a stun-gun) will mean that problems will just pop up. My manager/owner at the store thinks having one is "just comicking being comicking (as it were)" and chuckles. This was prior to my previous journal entry's event.

So that very first night... guess what happens..? The security guard guy happens to come in and we're chatting about my purchase and how its about the same power as his, when a couple of drunks that are arguing with each other come into the store. They go down an aisle, and all of sudden the bigger one starts taking swings at the other (connecting mind you, blood splattering everywhere). Both the guard and I hop to it, and I start using my gun on the bigger guy's back... nothing seems to happen! The guard then brings his under the guy's ribs and still nothing... a few seconds later, the guy finally drops. We both hand-cuff him and drag him to the front door and cuff him to the door. Since we're in such a bad neighboorhood, flagging down a squad takes no time. Afterwards, after filling out the reports, etc and getting my cuffs back, I find out that I 'over-used' my stunner and now it won't work anymore... a few days later my hand-cuffs go missing.. and nothing this bad (ezcept for the other entry) happens again.. I guess my roommate was right.
