for my entire sophomore year in high school, every paper i had to turn in was done as a haiku, occasionally two or three haikus strung together at most. in my defense i always said...to know something well, is to be able to speak of it simply. unfortunately, few teachers shared an appreciation for my insights.

mine is somewhat similar, except that it's life that's in the details. i guess i came to that conclusion as a result of in fact having no life and thus seeking meaning in the details of perhaps paint drying or maybe dust collecting on the screen of the t.v.- yup, that's living allright! ain't i clever?
