As then is now this is the truth,
that sweetest tounge hides sharpest tooth.

Always loved that line.

Casanovas
political leaders
cult leaders

People are so concerned these days at not judgeing people by how good they look. We have all met those who are stunners on the outside and black evil on the inside. So you look to what it is people are "saying" as the source of reliable info on the good of a person. But the fact remains that the truely malevolent people will hide those tendacies in sweet words.

Is it a natural proccess?
Natural selection picks the healthy and semetrical.
We no longer use that to pick our leaders.
So now we pick our leaders by the ideals they "say" they have.
But they lie.
All the time.

We all know "judge not by words but with deeds"
But how does one judge a potencial leader "only" by thier actions?

Should polititians have stats? Like in sports.

Youd have to create an impartial jury to select the stats.
Like "# of Promises made__"
and "# of Promises kept__"
"# of votes towards social programs"
"# of votes against social programs"
# of votes towards economic proposals that have been successful__"
and so on and so on.
Trading cards.
Effective polititians would be the rare cards.
