So, Im at my brothers apartment reading SG. Somehow it feels wrong to update from my Moms computer. Kansas has been ok so far. Ive been driven around a lot and I havent slept much, but its been nice to see my family again, I dont get to see them much.

Im 22 now. HUZZAH! Its much like being 21, but like a year older.

So, I leave for KC the 6th of August, and fly back the 18th. Should be fun. My room is leaking. Lots. Now, much as I like the summer rains, I like them to occur outside.
Today Im going to clean and well, thats about it.

I guess the order for today is doing laundry. Which ought to be a real domestic adventure, since I have neither washing machines nor change for a laundromat.

The city spent the morning constructing something on my street, or maybe deconstructing something (not in the lit major way). Fucking jackhammers.

So, Roller Derby was a lot more fun than I was expecting. Met some very cool SG AZ people, got rained on a little bit, and became freakishly buzzed from coffee. Good times.

I got The Price of Loyalty by Ron Suskind. Im only 70 or so pages into it but thus far its been pretty fascinating. Its amazing how weird and clannish the Washington political scene is.

Doom 3 should be done just in time for a certain persons birthday.
