My, how the time flies.
Valentines Day was spent trying, futilely, to not think about a certain girl. Cripes, she turned me down years ago. I try to be reasonable about things, but women seem to bring out the obsessive in me.
She and I were both complaining about singleness, she told me to ask more girls out, so I ask her out, she said no. Well, she didnt say no exactly, she gave in a semi- horrified deer in headlights look, which I think generously translates as no. Actually it might mean how-do- I-let-down-this-infatuated-but-otherwise- nice-boy-without-hurting-his-feelings. But Im not sure, I didnt bother to ask for clarification. Eh, no matter, it happened years ago.
Now that my self-indulgent whiny emo quota has been reached.
HaskAlmighty and I spent the better part of the holiday driving around southern Arizona. But aside from seeing Lake Patagonia and burning lots of gas we didnt accomplish much. He and I seem to do that a lot.
And I watched the Kaiju Big Battel DVD. It was a life changing experience.
What should I do while my roommate is out of town? Ive got the whole apartment to myself.

Mandy Patinkin, the Inigo actor, continued to have a fairly decent acting carrier, and was a regular on Chicago Hope for a while (not that I watched the show). The problem with him, though, was that the character was so completely different from who he was and from his usual acting style. I've seen some of his other movies, expecting another Inigo performance, and got a generic performance. Sad, really.
But with the advent of video, you can watch films in bed, too.
