Those of you who have been following the news lately probably know that the countryside surrounding my town is on fire. What these news reports fail to mention is that an entire mountain that has caught fire looks very, very cool. At least at night. You see this hazy line of orange just floating in the sky. It sort of looks like the sun creeping out from behind the horizon, only without the horizon.
I had plans of buying a car at the end of the summer. But after looking at insurance rates, I dont think that particular purchase is going to happen anytime soon. Unless I should suddenly find myself lacking a penis, I cant really afford it. Shesh, the girl I was going to buy the car from is only paying half of what I would pay. I never understood why car insurance rates get to be one of the last bastions of sexism.

I hope Club Congress doesn't burn down! I am excited about coming out there to play! We bought a van on Friday...our first tour bus. We will drive it to AZ! Yay!
