I've been watching a spate of classic sci-fi movies the past few days. The Thing (From Outer Space), Forbidden Planet, The Blob, that sort of thing. It dawns on me that they don't make movies with much of a sense of wonder anymore. We're living in the most exciting time ever, and all our entertainment is so jaded. Are our lives just so exciting that we have to escape to banality for release?

Laundry or sleep? Its an agonizing choice.
I've been okay. you?
I wish I had a talk show so I could invite you on there.
Then we would tell the audience we're giving them all copies of your latest book and to check under their chairs.
Everyone would cheer.
You should be on my show more often.
