Rest in Peace Jake
This morning, after a really short and sudden illness, the family golden retriever was put to sleep. He was nearly 13, a decent age for a retriever, and we don't think suffered much more than discomfort over the last day or 2. I'm gutted, but pleased he has respite. He was the most affectionate animal I've ever known, and that didn't even change when his body began to fail him. Thanks for being amazing boy.
