Peel and slice eggplant (thank you theconservative), slice up broccoli and add chili, salt and pepper. Or whatever spices you like.
Pour in buttermilk or what you prefer in your cooking, covering up to the top.
Add a layer with cheese on top and gratinate in oven for 35 minutes.
Fry ground beef in a heated pan, add garlic, onion and mushrooms, some of the buttermilk, spices and herbs.
Some fresh oregano, dill and thyme on top. Perfect.
Serve with ice cold water with a few leaves of lemon balm.
I use herbs straight from my garden.

well, technically she's my daughter's rat, but she's 4, so you know who takes care of her. Oh yeah, i had to look up what an aubergine was...we call them eggplants here.
