When these rats go I'm never having pets again.
Had to take Fat-Lola and India to the vet this morning and I was sure I wouldn't come home with Fat-Lola. When I came back from my trip she had difficulties breathing and was just sitting still, occasionally running around trying to get some air. The vet gave me some antibiotics for her so hopefully that will cure her.
It still sucks.. I'm so afraid she will get worse during the weekend and I'll have to find someone to take care of her because the vets up here aren't open during the weekends. That's what happened to one of my other rats and I was bawling my eyes out the entire weekend because I couldn't do anything.
So time to play nurse and keep my fingers crossed.
