Back home.
Opened the box with the things I inherited from her. A ceramic dining set she bought in Greece a very long time ago. And of course some stuff had broken on the flight home.. The wine jug had lost the handle, a bowl had broken in two and the big dining plate was in a thousand pieces. Oh well, I can fix the first two. Still sucks.
The painting she had given me made it home safely though. It's beautiful. And she had given my mom The Tragedy by Picasso, which has always been my favorite, so I'm gonna steal it some day.
Listening to Janis Joplin - Get it while you can, which might be my new favorite song. My cousin played it for me last night, we were drinking, dancing, smoking, all in honor of my aunt.
And oh.. I got a scarf too. I have my nose buried in it, it still smells like my aunt.
But it's good to be home. It's time to bring order back into my life. Yeah. Some sense and order.
By the way, I really recommend the song by Janis, it's ace!
