A few of weeks ago I had some of my dearest friends over for dinner, when one of the girls said the pet shop she worked at five years ago, had called her to ask if she wanted a job as daily manager. They were really desperat for someone to fill the position but she couldn't take it because she already has a job as a teacher.
So I suggested she send my phone number to the owner and tell him I was interested. She did, he didn't call and I forgot the whole thing.
He called me today! I was totally caught of guard, still eating my breakfast and drinking shitty coffee but we did a interview over the phone and he said he would discuss it with his partner.
I was pretty honest and said I have no experience from working in a store but I am eager to learn and I want new challenges, I can start immediately and hey, I love animals. That should make me perfect for this job right?
I'm keeping everything crossed, hoping I will be offered the position because my current job is killing me. I dread every day I have a shift but I ain't a rich bitch, so I have to work to pay the bills.
But.. this is a full-time position, mostly day shifts, all Sundays off, most holidays.. I WANT IT!!!
