So I was reading Ember's journal, and she was mentioning being in a fog. It was kind of wierd to read about said fog. I felt like I have been in one for about a week now. I deploy for Iraq in *looks at watch* 22 days, and for the life of me, I cannot think of anything to do RIGHT NOW. I was watching TV, feeling the uselessness just oozing out of my body and into my couch, like some type of decaying vampire in some really shitty 'B' movie, and it frustrated me. It is still frustrating me.
*points to self* this guy? frustrated!
The only real thing that I look forward to is next week (22nd), when I will switch to staff hours (M-F 8am - 2pm, but they usually let you out mad early). They switch me 14 days before deployment so that I can "Get my head thinking about the mission before I leave." Yea, I'll make a note of that.
This entire situation is chafing my buttocks, and there is nothing I can do about it. For a while, deploying freaked me out, now its just kind of depressing. I also decided to cancel my account while I am gone... I am actually thinking about uncancelling it just in case I get internet connection over there, I can do SG from Iraq. Missy could hire me as a liason, I could abandon the military, woo hoo, score one for me! But until then, I will sit and ponder. Feel free to help me waste my time by leaving me comments, I promise I won't be mad.
As a sidenote, I think I am going to head up to the SG Burlesque show on the 28th in LA. I just hope that it isn't 21 and over.. anyone else going to be there?

Seems we are all in a funk, huh? Sorry to hear you're deploying soon.. so is my husband. Around the same time as you. Have you had your block leave already? Ours starts Tuesday.. we leave Wednesday to go back to California!!
Hmm.. SG show on the 28th? Wonder if I can make is down from Sacramento to LA.. Hmmm!?
