Well, I lost my job a week ago. I was working as a temp, doing assembly for a company that was very close to home. It wasn't the greatest job in the world but I was good at it and having money coming in is always better then having it go out. The worst part about it is, on the day before they let me go we had a quarterly meeting. In which they higher ups were going on about how the company was doing so well, that they hadn't been looking this good since the recession in 2008, how even tho production was down now it was going to be picking up, blah blah. Next day I get home and get a message from my temp agency saying that the company was letting me go. I had talked to my boss 4 times that day. He signed my time card. But didn't say one word about it being my last day. What a little bitch.
So now I am back job searching. Which sucks.
But I have a interview today, so that's something. Its not my dream job, but I cant afford to be all that picky right now, too many bills.
On the photography front, I have gotten my hands on Lightroom 5 editing software, so I can start learning how to bring the best out of my images. And I got myself a flickr page (cobbins8660). So I can post my edited work there as well. I am going to keep plugging away at photography, I love it.
One of my best friends, who is basically my pseudo wife, wants to take some pin up/ boudior photos. We have been talking about it for months. So far I have about 5 different set ideas for her. The hardest part about it is that she lives in Texas and I'm here in Minneapolis. But Hopefully in April I will be able to make the trip down and get a ton of shots with her. I think if it goes well I will take it as my opportunity to join the SG photographer hopefuls group.
Time to get on my suit and go to this interview..
