ENTRY: Train Station in Hot City, en route to the Hot Zone.
PERSONEL: Bill Cole. The Queen of Microbiology.

At one minute past noon, I am snapping through a
morass of faces in search of my contact.

Cole! Cole!

This station is a zoo covered in dust, with millions of teeming microbes.

Cole!

There is his head, bobbing amid the limbs.

Hey Cole! Am I late,...

Over my remaining slice of bacon, Jean-Maries
nipples poke dents on the other side of her shirt. Its
the first time I have noticed them.
Amazingly I wasnt eyeing them while I was in the pool.
Smoke envelops their faces,

A prevalent figure in these compositions
a nursed and petted melancholy
words until they were worn entirely out.

I know who I would cast in...

I second the erica jong reccomendation.
I'm going to watch down with love tonight.

The child began to cry. Tom tried to put his arm around her neck.
But she pushed him away
and turned her face to the wall
and went on crying. She had no companions
but silence and loneliness. She
looks sunburnt. She wants the car.
And she seized the boy in a crushing embrace that
made him fell like the guiltiest of villains.

A body...

She was a VERY interesting lady.
tigerlily:
see, now you gave me the same "oh my god my 30s are so much better than my 20s" shpeel that i clung to throughout my 20s and now i'm in my 30s (ssshhhh don't tell) and while it definitely is better, W.A.I.D.W.M.L. is still hanging around and it makes me want to throw temper tantrums.

thanks for the inspiration tho...congrats on finding that balance with work and art!!

Am I supposed to have a theme?

The harder Tom tried to fasten his mind on his book,
the more his ideas wandered.

I failed to exile myself
from this poem after that last fiasco in Virginia.
Chunks of this house/ these photos all over creation.

Larissa kisses me goodnight on the forehead.

Kiss? What do you kiss for?

Please Becky
And he tugged at...

On the wall in the house, there is a photo of her.
On the wall. A photo of her in high school. Looking
much younger. Like a sunshine vanilla wafer. An incomprehensible set of visual clues.
A cheerleader, a majorette, a prom queen, a finger food, a series of
adolescent obsolete transparencies, flung against my watch.

Theyre smoking again.
Were singing a song about Jean-Marie....

?????????

What happened?
Am I dead?
Exiled?
Maybe my coffin is too small. No,
this is a couch.

That put the thing in a new light.

The goat keeps scratching.
We agree to go swimming.

Behold, a new girl in the garden.
The fresh crowned hero fell.
Vanished out of his head and left not even a memory
of herself behind. He had thought he...

This must be my seventh time going to the bathroom.
Must beware the strips of wood outside the can. Theres
a goat outside. A goat!!
Jean Marie: lying across from me on the other couch.
Hard to travel in the dark, I tell you, living room in shadow. She resurrects
nothing but the cat. My motion. Detected. Causes a cat to
leap on Jean Marie....

Sock collection? What about grandmas Depends dwarer? Thanks for the compliment on my photo title. And about the Black Dahlia...I think maybe it was the old drunkard that burned himself and his house up with a cigarette. Who knows..all I know is I am infatuated by murder scenes, death, motives, forensics...it goes on. Especially when it is incorporated into art somehow. So that means your Black Dahlia board game=AWESOME.

Uncle Lawrence, tapping his belly:
O, you should see the place on Memorial Day, if
you think THIS is a lot of flowers. A southern tradition. Like any
good ol southern boy ought to do. To
pay respects. More like a chance to see folks you havent
seen in a few years. And they collect dues.

Standing with my cousins, the tombstones
have open books...

Im surprised the cattle comes up this far.

She died of Hodgkins disease, and he, 7
shot himself with a pistol, this fellow
died in a truck the next day, (distracted
by airplanes) and this man went
squirrel hunting, came back, and has he stepped
through the front door, he fell backwards dead.

My grandfather Hascue had sunken eyes and shaved
twice a day. The...

drummers are tough to find and keep, theres not enough of em, i tried to pick it up before but im just not near coordinated enough. i thought itd be fun to do a hardcore cover band. not covering hardcore songs, covering like pop songs in a hardcore style. like me first and the gimme gimmes, only hardcore, not punk. i worked out a great version of Dont Cry by guns and roses with my friend, and i thought other things to cover that would be cool would be billy joel, ace of base, that barbie song (no clue who sang that), i dunno, just stupid fun shit. cuz it would just be for fun, i wouldnt try to actually go anywhere with it. i also prefer the studio over playing live, cuz i get stage fright...im shy.

i fear this part of my life has just begun. I have self control but sometimes having alcohol run through my veins makes me forget that i need a job, i feel alone even though i am not, i need a friend...uggh...fuck my self pity mode. Maybe I am just being a baby...yeah, i bet that is it.
