Having an 11 month old son doesn't make for a lot of time to write journals these days. However it is fun playing blocks!!

Since I last posted, I recorded 35 tracks for two full length albums. Feels good. Won't be getting back in the studio until late August for mixing.
Having a pool party or two this summer. Gonna catch up with some old pals. And have a Pina Colada or two.

Since the boys are now well into their teens, and preteens, it's no longer "cool" to be seen with me (oh the horror) so they are usually on a fishing boat somewhere when we are in the area. maybe I can borrow someones kid..

My corporate job exhausts me as much as composing, performing and recording music energizes me. Mixed this weekend, but still far from completing X THE UNKNOWN. Recording sessions for BELLS OF ORCHIDS begin on Friday.

I can certainly sympathize with the day job draining the energy and the creative work bringing it back. Even knowing this, I sometimes can't strike up the energy to start the creative work. One hopes you always press on.
I've been avoiding the dentist myself. Some of his previous repair work needs touching up. I hope you make it there before I do.

Taking a slight break in my musical endeavors to work on some visual art this week, preparing 3 pieces for my Alumni show. Tonight, worked on "BLUTO FOUND THE PICTURES", a diptych that shows half-naked Polaroids of a model, juxtaposed with a threatening letter to me from her boyfriend BLUTO, who is pissed off about the session.

Well, earlier this week (on Tuesday), Lord Claud and I went into NY to continuing the mixing on the latest Teeth album. Things are going very well, in fact, I'm particularly proud of my performance on Live Minnows which I recorded this week. All the pieces are now in place for the final mix-down.

Mixes continue; Beel posted roughs of X the Unknown and White Chocolate. Yesterday I had time to work on some yellow photoshop nudes of one of my pals from high school who recently posed nude for me. I'm incorporating the photos into a piece that I believe I'll be calling "Oranges and Lemons".
