Listening to Ravel. I'm compiling a series of musical tunes to help my wife relax with breathing exercises...our due date for the bebe is Sept 25th.

She doesn't seem to be too thrilled with Tangerine Dream, so I think it's going to be orchestral composers mainly. And some Brian Eno and Biosphere.

I had the most peculiar dream this morning. In the dream, I was single, living at home with my mom and grandmother, unemployed, and girlfriendless. Sometimes I feel like I'm trapped in time, solid in a crystal bath of hard water. And the seconds tick by, tick by and I don't know when to move. Or how.

New band name:

The Inverted Historical Orchestra.

Originally I was going to call it the Inverted Historical Crisis Orchestra, but thought it rolled off the tongue better without the "Crisis".

My wife likes it better than the name of one of my old bands:
COOKIEFUCKY.

I keep having dreams where I'm the only one in the dream that knows it's a dream. And I'm trying to convince everyone that they're in a dream, but they don't believe me.

And I have this theory that the other people in my dream are actually having the same dream as me in reality, and that we're meeting in a dream dimension.

Project Blackbeard is in effect - got about 200 new albums on my hard drive, courtesy of a pal of mine.

I think FP is coming by today to hang at the pool (which I just spent the last hour vacuuming). Maybe I can get my workstation set up today.
