My son was born on Sept 29th and he and Mama are healthy!
Named him Quentin...and now for a nap...

Well, my adrenaline is pumping! We're off to the hospital in a couple hours where my wife will be prepped and birth will be induced - when next I appear, I'll be a Papa!

Today was V's official due date for the baby, but alas, no labor pains. So ... it's the waiting game!

Worked on my website today quite a bit and getting ready for a major overhaul, something I haven't done in about a year.

Visited MomMoo in the recovery center. Had Mom over for dinner. Gave my dad a guilt trip for going on a golf...

Customary 9 hours at work today, but I actually enjoyed myself - felt more productive than my standard middle-management cog in the machine type mentality that I've had of late.

Since my last update, went to the rehabilitation center to see Mom-Moo, who is doing better, though she's still weak. Crushed vertibrae can't be easy to deal with but she's making a valiant effort and was up and about a bit before being exhausted.

Wow, only a week now before the official due date of THE bebe.

I'm unusually calm!

Was supposed to go to Brett's wedding today (two hours away in NY) but had to cancel. V's only 14 days away from her due due date, so I'll be a papa pretty quick!

Enjoyed my pool for the last time this year (probably) as the temp is starting to drop.

Brrrr.

Phew, this has been the easiest day of work I've had in ages (I mean it was no picnic, but it was a positive relaxing paradise compared to recent weeks)!

I'm sad summer is leaving us though, I like it hot.
