It's bizarre to have the power over someone's life to increase their quality of living or to fire them and cause them all kinds of grief. It's humbling, and yet I'm just one guy in the massive corporate food chain. I still stand by my comment in the "Literary Ambitions" thread that if you desire to sell a book a poetry it's a good idea to publish your verse first in literary journals, if only for the exposure. The poetry community is rather incestuous.
Hmm, I always wonder if I'd enjoy being in a position of power in coporate American. Somehow I doubt it. Responsibility, what's that?
