Spent entire day working on wedding plans. Lord Claude asked me on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most far from tradition, where is my wedding?
I'd have to say about a 7. The attire is traditional, but the music and ceremony aren't. We're writing our own vows, I've written most of the music and the readings. I've avoided any semblance of mushy goopy lovey dovey tradition. It's non religious in every way, though we do give a shout out to our ancestors.
Also been working today on arranging the Tracks on THE BAMBOO HOUSE OF MAI LEI TAMAI, an unrelased concept album that I've been working on with the FLAT ASTRONAUTS.
Wish someone would pay me to write and record concept albums and draw underground comix all day long!!
