Schools are hard to get into. As is, I am in the process of breaking with the little school I have gone to for too long and trying to find a place that I can grow and develop. Unfortunately, I do not have many of the academic credits required by many of the places I am applying to and as of yet have not assembled a portfolio for submission, and I'm just trying to finish a bachelor's program. What do you mean by your art being all over the place? Stylistically, conceptually, skillwise, technique wise? I know that I keep incurring difficulty because I keep working with the female form primarily, and many of my peerage think that I need to break out of that mold. Hey, you can't argue with what inspires you, what moves you, what you're good at. When I want to break from the norm I keep the subject matter but switch media, like now I am concentrating primarily on watercolor and Yupo paper, but six months ago I was doing watercolor and collage on wood and a few months before that it was acrylic mix media and before that it was printmaking. Yes, I am well versed in a plethora of media.

I don't know exactly what is going on with my site. I just went to it and it worked fine for me, but once in a while I get someone who tells me that they had problems. Mostly, it depends on how many people tried to look at pictures that day, something about data info exchange (My computer lingo is limited, my boyfriend is the techie and I am going to have to get him here to see what's going on.) I know I am going to have to load up the names of all of the newer work on the opening page, but I hope to do that soon. I also should be adding in two piece I painted last night into my journal pics within the next day or so. I have to wait until they are fully dry (DAMN non-absorbant Yupo!) but I hope you'll return to check them out.
