Suspicious, Helena wonders who or what could possibly be behind all their recent troubles. By this time, Herc recognizes the island as the home of his friend Aeolus, so he heads for "The Cave Of Four Winds" to consult him. But before he can get there, Wilamene forces Aeolus to raise a South wind to blast the mighty Hercules with airborne sand.

Wilamene gloats as Herc begins to become buried with sand. But when he rips a slab of rock from the ground and uses it to divert the sand-stream toward the cackling sea witch, the tables are turned. The blowing sand tears her wand out of her hand, leaving Wilamene helpless trapped, buried up to her neck in sand. Hercules releaser her after she promises to end her spell over Aeolus.

After apologizing to Herc, the king of the winds sends Helena's spice-boat on its way with a fair wind heading back to Calydon. But frustrated Wilamene vows vengeance; if she can't enjoy the ship's "delicious cargo", no one will! She uses her "magic fire ring" to reflect the sun's rays and set the boat's sail on fire. As the flames spread, Aeolus makes good on his vow to give Hercules and his friends a safe passage home, and conjures up a huge waterspout that douses the conflagration.

The force of this threatens to overturn the boat, but fortunately, Hercules grabs the tiller and rides out the effects of the otherwise helpful waterspout. Later, back on the solid soil of Calydon, Helena and her grateful crew thank the mighty Hercules as he leaps back into the sky toward Mount Olympus with his familiar cry of "Olympia!"
