Heh. Was on myspace, checking the "Friends" list of one of my co-patriots and I see someone named Queen V who looks a bit familiar. Well, after checking out her website (she's a ROCK GODDESS!!), I figure out that she's the lead singer of an old band named "Tabula Rasa" from the old Teeth highdays. In fact, she actually wound up pinching the first Teeth guitarist for her band.
She's totally re-invented herself...I quite enjoyed checking out her saucy photos and especially reading her bio. She has a lengthy career playing in NYC, but has basically chosen to discard much of it in favor of a new image. Ballsy, but I think it'll work for her. Anyway, I'm pleased as punch to see someone from my past music days having at least some moderate artistic success making music. HA!
