Working on house, still, and probably forever. Bob T Roller and Mr Plaza came over and helped me move furniture in exchange for dinner. Listened to tunes, chatted!

Threw ball with dog. Sang to bird.

Celebrated my 2nd Anniversary with my wife last night with a tasty dinner capped off with KEY LIME PIE!

Yum...! love

Dreamed of winning the $5000 a week for life lottery and opening my own music studio. Then woke up and was annoyed greatly by my job today. Naturally. mad

So couldn't sleep yesterday morning and got up to make a list of all the albums (CD's) that I want to get. Fine priorities. Worked on it in the morning while my wife went to get a haircut and have lunch with one of her buddies.

After paying fetch with dog, went to Wawa to pick up a chicken sandwich, which promptly gave me the...

So what does your CD list look like? Just curious. My want list seems to be atrophying at the moment, which is a bit worrying.

My advisor was just talking about Molokai today. Apparently it's very rainy. I've never been to Hawaii so I couldn't say.
I have a great fear of Volcanos, I probably won't be visiting anytime soon. I'm sure it is beautiful though. If you go, do take some pictures? wink
twinkie:
Sigh. My tax return is poo. I don't owe anything, at least, I guess.

NEW POEM TODAY!

BOX OR SOFT?

Youve picked a soft way to fade,
my once fiendish cookie puck,
perhaps developed and simultaneously
engorged in isolation, in erotic reverie,
pasted on pillows and resigned to
soft. Perhaps in shades of domesticity,
you will find your way to a effortless
and wantless picnic stop.

But I doubt it.

I hope that music still
strains through you, that...

I feel very lucid today, witty, on top of my game. At work, there was nary a bizarre situation that I couldn't conquer.

Drove through the pouring rain, felt refreshed.

Ran errands with exuberance.

Healthy and lean.

Weather was shitty but somehow I'm feeling the saucy tug of spring.

Life to be juicy, lovin' to be had! love

So the Commodore came over yesterday and we tested out the Korg 4-track I bought. It's suprisingly warm in sound, and comes with some effects that will be good when we want to put those Joy Division Closer-type drum effects on the percussion.

Almost finished with the Orange room, too. Just a fine tooth cleaning of the floor and we'll be able to move the...

Ok, it's beat myself up time again!

I have several art projects, even some with which I'm collaborating with people on this very site, and I've been flaking out and not getting the work done to complete the project.

I need to get my ass kicked by the artmonkey!! ooo aaa

Sometimes I get so mired in my corporate muck that I tire myself out and poopout...

ummm...i'm not one to talk, but beating yourself up doesn't usually do the trick. biggrin

maybe the first thing to do is not watch tv, but don't force yourself to do art either. read a book. go for a walk...something to get the juices flowing.

I remember when I was little, my friend's mom told us she had a birth on video, and that we were allowed to watch it, but with the sound turned off. Intriguing!!! I wondered if there was lots of swearing. But she never actually let us have the tape.

I should revisit 'Poison River'... I've always found it difficult, partly because it's only recently that I had the entire thing.

But I always preferred Jaime's artwork as pure artwork; the way he plays with shadow, and the way he likes to change styles to suit the character; I'm thinking particularly of the way he does the kids in the Ray/Danita thread of 'Wig Wam Bam'. "Do we know how to have a club, or what!" love
