Ye gods, has it really been that long since I've been on here?
Well, the GB show was awesome. Very Very cool, and I can't wait to see them again. I danced a lot. Wore my b/w creepers and got stompy, whilst looking like Donna Reed. Sweet.
Drank a huge and tasty beer@99 Bottles just before hitting up the show, aussi. Try out Siamese Twin, in a 25 oz. mug, my friends. It will treat you right.
School's been school--i've slacked and I've kicked ass, all at the same time. I'm down to the last couple of days before finals, and I cannot wait for this quarter to be over. Sure, I'm starting my next qtr the Monday after finals week concludes, but I'm just done with these particular subjects, lol. Well, except for Nicky's class, that is. I liked that class alot.
We just did the Wellstone follow-up day...that I'd tried to get out of, but managed to get wrangled into. It was really informative, and I hung out with cool cats, so it worked out.
Talking to a lady named J, right now. Curiouser and curiouser. Shawn may be having some luck on OKC, aussi. woot!
Phillip is watching the Dude, as shawn's 'rents house is being worked on, again, just before it goes up for sale. *sighs* really hoping that it goes quickly...so that shawn and i can move in together. rarr...
Volunteering activities have also been a blast--went to two forums, one was followed by dinner (post the Meet in the Middle event). We are still discussing the Youth outreach ideas...now we're working with Matt, from the Deanza GSA. *fingers crossed* who knows what the future holds?
There's also talk of going to D.C. in October...hmmm, that would be most awesome.
Work is work--not enough of it to go around. I need to get a new /second job. to be sure. I'm going to go apply for preschool aide positions, in Cupertino...using one of my cowkrs from Talbot's as a reference. *again, crossing those fingers* the pay isn't super great, but it would add nicely to what I have now.
Reapplied for FAFSA goodness. things should be better this time, in regards to $$$ for school, especially since my earnings were half of what they had been the year previous. Woot.
*sighs* i so need to eat and go get some supplies for 1) my project that is due today, 2) my paper that is due tomorrow.
