Hope everyone had a wunderbar Valentine's! I know I did. mmm, chocolate port...delicious!
Almost finished with season 2 of The Tudors. Watched CORALINE and PUSH over the weekend, and approved highly of both. CANNOT WAIT to see NINE, which comes out 9/9/09. Squeeeeeeee. & The Watchmen is less than a month away now, aussi. much splodey goodness.
The birthday was good, as well. I have several things coming from AMAZON, courtesy of ma soeur. Bless her for that. It's a Jim Butcher Birthday, muwahaha. I'm giving Codex Alera a shot...and we just picked up the first two comics for Storm Front. Apparently, there's an illustrated version of Fool Moon coming out, too. Dude. Thank the Gods my friend moved to Chicago. she consented to braving the minuit release of Turncoat for me. heehee. I told her she didn't have to get anything signed, just picking the book up at the signing/release was good enough. She laughed, and said I underestimate her powers. Ahh, Candice, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...
Am enjoying MOONLIGHT, that vamp teevee show that has the girl from Tristan & Isolde, and the episode of Dr. Who--the girl in the fireplace??? i can't remember the title currently. much cheesy goodness, but not velveeta. I appreciate it, muchly. Plus, these flirtations that Shannyn Sossamon will reappear get the heart all a fluttery.
Still haven't caught Burn Notice..which I know...i need to. Bruce Campbell, AND the guy from Blair Witch two?!?! How can that ever be bad?
my friend paul suggested that the best buddie pick ever would be Bruce and Nathan Fillion. I think peoples' heads would explode. It'd just be Too Much. *nathan...drewwwwwls*
Anyone see My Name is Bruce yet?? i am dying to see it.
Fanboys, too!! I hear it's rather witty. Having been hoping to see it for a year or so, I'm excited. I like the nostalgia..you know, back when we all thought the Star Wars franchise was coming back with avengence...and not poop. *sighs* oh 1999...how we miss thee!
Who's excited that Steve W., ala Apple, is going to be on Dancing with the Stars?? I am going to record Every Episode. Get Yer Nerd On! That is almost as good as George Hamilton...almost.
yes...i should be doing homework, but what would be the point in that? it was a four day weekend! meh. I do have things to turn in, tomorrow, but nothing too grandiose. I do have to start working on two different speeches, as well as a paper/poster for my Child Development class--which I chose to do on Sesame Street, because who Doesn't Love Sesame Street? Me Prff is excited that I'm going to make a big poster, as she wants to put it up for the kiddos in the daycare center on campus. That makes me much happy. Jim Henson is waaaaaay more awesome than Disney, I'm sorry...I know that is Sacrilege, and I love The Mouse more than a lot of people...but Kermit stole my heart before Mickey ever did.
K, the rambling must end...i am in need of a refill of java. tah!
