The nephew just turned two. Going to my sis's on saturday, to celebrate, with a BBQ, and drunken redneck goodness, in the backyard.
No job,...yet...contemplating just getting a part timer and going to school full time. Time to go to the local College and talk to a counselor. Here's to hoping that something comes up soon. I do have my unemployment coming in a bit, thankfully.

Shawn wants me to write every day, and I know he's right, it's just been hard the last couple of days.
I have two things going>>an Armageddon piece with Demeter & Xavior (these two vampires that have lived in my head for 10 yrs.), and a story about a house that eats people/souls.
this is a house that I have had nightmares about for years...i'm just trying to get it squared away in my mind's eye. it's hard to get focused right now. but...i NEED to.
hence, school thoughts. i think that would really help.
my bf's mom really wants me to go back to school. she is so sweet. i'm getting mom'd to death, when we go over and hang out with his parents. it's nice, though. i am glad that she cares.
Gotta get cat litter today...wander around a bit, get some sun, etc...should be good. if the dog was a bit better socially, i'd walk her to the store with me...but my fear is, if I left her outside, she'd bite another dog...she'd be fine with people...but she HATES other dogs. poor puppy.
maybe i'll just walk her around the block and get her out in the air, so she's not stuck in the back yard.
it'd be good for someone other than grant to walk her--so she doesn't think she can misbehave with other people.
A wee bit over a quarter of the way into Dead Beat. YAY for Harry Dresden. I really want this shirt I saw, with a quote from Bob on it>>>"Things you know about women, Harry...I can juggle." Ahh Bob, how I love thee, let me count the ways.
