ministry was a slight disappointment, but t'was a good time, deep down.
what a crazy busy week that was.
The take over of KOC (21 of us showed up) for karyaoke was truly awesome.
i think i sang like 4 times.
it was good to have dinner with Caeden---who gave me the suicide girls #2 mag.
sweet.
gotta love prezzies from Good Vibes--no matter what it is, it is absolutely an essential item.
i barely made it thru the following day--we closed the bar down. how dumb am i? lol.
i don't sleep, apparently, haha.
the weekend was spend doing laundry, watching shawn game with boys, texting Terry whilst she was
at the Dinah Shore party in Palm Springs, and watching The Tudors and Three Sheets.
Truly, I think I'm going to be Steve McKenna'd tonight.
i made it to tuesday, w/o a scratch, and met terry at work. SQUEE.
we went for coffee, and she got to meet shawn. woohoo. i think that went over well.
we kept it mellow, and i had to send her home early, so that she could get things done.
oh i forgot that i went out with Daniel, on monday night so that he could work on his tattoo.
he's a yin-yang that he's adding the corona of the Sun to. it looks pretty rad.
i think he's got one more session? perhaps.
time for me to start pickng out and pulling together what i want to do with my back.
or rather...getting it started. i know what i want to do, it's getting it going that is half the
battle...GI JOE?!?!?!
i don't remember much from weds, outside of stressing about packing for staying at terry's house.
i'm such a freak, when it comes to those kinds of things.
thurs i poured myself out of the house, went to starbuck's, chatting up the lovely folks that work
there (like heather, who is a doll, and teases shawn a lot)...only to have shawn call me
just before the bus came.
he swung by to take me to work...he was feeling unsure about me taking off that night,
i could tell.
i squished him and tried to console him...made plans for later---like this weekend.
work drgged on for waaay too long
took the train up and met terry in P.A....totally thought i saw caeden at the train station.
**note to self pull up the directions for the Softball game, on monday night**
went up to her house---her phil had dinner waiting for us, which is super all kinds of
awesome. ---he's awesome for other reasons, as well.
Her kitty rox. i liked the house; next to the railroad, nice!
didn't stay up too late---just late enough!
a gentleman does not kiss and tell...
getting up the next day, to come back down to work, wasn't my fave thing, but it was
what it was.
i was right on time for work---cruised thru the day, smiley happy.
made plans to meet susan for dinner---shawn called while were out.
i didn't hear the phone, over the roar of the crowd at Rosie's.
GORGEOUS bluddy weather.
the heat of summer, truly---and it's continuing...it was 83 degrees, two hrs. ago.
shawn was at my house when i got home--snuggling was good---he took off to meet up
with friends, @Beefy's. i watched more of "long way round">>>Ewan McGregor is
still, and even more so, one of my fave people in the world.
"The Scots saved Civilization...Your Welcome!" cheeky bugger.
passed out, shawn came in--the cats were forced to move, haha. poor things.
woke up far too early--thought my sister was going to come down, but she did not.
apparently, when she dropped me off at CalTrain, the Day after Ministry, the
howler monkey cried the whole way back home. I think my nephew likes me.
today has been a day, avoiding the heat, yet relishing it.
watched the latest JLA movie--The New Frontier. TOTALLY awesome.
I eagerly look forward to the Anime style BATMAN animated film, aussi.
Super Sex on Wheels that is.
it was good to see grant and amy, as I had not seen them in a long time---Where have you
been, Quoth the Grant.
Every which way, quoth I.
good lord i am writing a novel.
speaking of which--gretta and i are in discussion of writing one, ourselves...on our lives.
of the Foxfyre Circle...
Terry wants to yell out my whole name---that is super sexxy. especially since she included
my nickname--Maddie.
i go SQUEE now...cheers!
